Bewley's Cafe

There's something about Bewley's that no other Café in the world can replicate. It's our unique ambience, which goes back to 1927 when Ernest Bewley opened the Grafton Street Café.

Since then, Bewley's, Grafton Street has been an integral part of the city's life. A rich cultural heritage has seen it favoured by playwrights and poets down the years, and the tradition continues to the present day at the famous Bewley's Theatre.

Very little has changed since the days of Ernest Bewley. We're still utterly passionate about offering the finest, freshest and best-tasting food and beverages - something which millions of customers over the years have enjoyed.

We're equally committed to a spirit of craftsmanship, whether it's the specialist Craft Roasters who roast our beans several times each day right here in the Café in a tradition stretching back over 80 years, our world-famous Baristas who carefully prepare every single cup of coffee, or our bakers and confectioners who produce our freshly-baked range of pastries and cakes here on the premises every day.

True to this tradition of offering fresh, great tasting food, we are also delighted to bring you the award winning Café Bar Deli Restaurant in association with the innovative restaurateur, Jay Bourke.

So, whether you simply want to enjoy a coffee on the James Joyce Room Balcony and savour the best view in town or perhaps visit our Café Bar Deli Restaurant on the ground floor, for a leisurely breakfast or for great pizzas and pastas, enjoyed under the light of the Harry Clarke Windows, you'll find it all at Bewley's, Grafton Street.

You can also buy our famous coffee beans and teas at our Craft Roasting counter on the ground floor and then enjoy the famous Bewley's taste at home whenever you please.

Enjoy the Bewley's experience and steep yourself in the history and heritage of Dublin.
