Believe at Bewley’s Grafton Street
We are delighted to have launched our Bewley’s ‘Believe‘ TV advert in December 2021. Our new Christmas ad celebrates modern Christmas in Ireland through the reliable partners that get us through the season – coffee and belief. The ad reflects the funny, heart-warming and often emotional moments of Christmas, with both coffee and belief taking centre stage as the driving forces of the festivities. This campaign marks the beginning of a new era for us, and we have big ambitions and even bigger plans for the future. The ad was created in partnership with The Tenth Man, we hope you enjoy it!
On Sunday the 28th of November at 5pm Allie Sherlock, one of Ireland’s best-known buskers, turned on the Christmas lights at Bewley’s Café, and launched the Bewley’s Christmas Market. The Believe lights shined down on Christmas shoppers making their way through Grafton Street as Allie Sherlock performed from the balcony of Bewley’s Cafe, filling the streets of Dublin with belief!
As part of the festive season, we featured our Bewley’s Christmas Market, a pop-up in our iconic Grafton Street Café that supports local businesses and producers for the month of December. From ceramics to books, vinyl records to crafted goods, the space is a bustling hub of beautifully created Irish products, waiting for you in the middle of the city centre. The aim was to shine a light on the wealth of talented producers and makers across Ireland. Independent creators are integral to the fabric of Irish culture and creativity, and what better way to celebrate this than by showcasing them all under one roof.
Bewley’s Coffee Cocktail Club came about from conversations between Oisin Davis of Great Irish Beverages & Wojciech Tysler from Bewley’s, who was a finalist in the World Barista Championships 2021. Both were keen to explore how their two respective worlds could combine for mixing up some tasty drinks. After working together on research and development, they landed on running a pop-up Cocktail Club during December where beautiful coffees and premium Irish made spirits came together in the stunning James Joyce Room in Bewley’s Café. Each of the three cocktails were made with Bewley’s new Inca Single Origin Coffee from Peru.
