Cafetière

The Cafetière, or French Press, is a commonly used home brew method that when used correctly produces a cup with a fuller mouth feel than a pour over. This recipe is for a Cafetière with a 750ml capacity – adjust your recipe according to the 60g/1litre rule.

Barista-Tips

For a much cleaner cup, break the top of the coffee and clear away the ground before plunging. To prevent over extracting the coffee, dispense into a server immediately after plunging.
