Junior Achievement Dragons’ Den

‹ Back to overview

24th May 2016

Our Senior Directors were wowed today by innovative ideas from 4th class students in the local ‘Our Lady Immaculate Senior School Darndale’ for a Dragons’ Den event in association with Junior Achievement Ireland.

Their impressive entreprenuiral ideas ranged from a new Clothing and Motor Range, Runners for Dogs, Parental Timers for Computers and GPS tracking Running Shoes. After each group presented their idea, there was a Q & A session which then led on to our Dragons negotiating the potential to buy into their business. The children demonstrated excellent presentation skills and had no problem negotiating the best deal for their future!

This year we celebrated our 20th year involved in the the Junior Achievement community programme. It aims to encourage young people to remain in education and teaches them the skills they need to succeed in a changing world.
