Not only is the origin of our beans beautiful, the process is too we were the first coffee company to seek the Fairtrade mark in 1996, we empower coffee growers and their communities to improve their lives and plan for their future. Follow the journey of our coffee from field to cup this Fairtrade Fortnight.

When Bewley’s beans pass from coffee growers to our roasters, we treat them with as much care and attention as our coffee growing partners show. Having contributed over €2.4 million in Fairtrade premiums over the last two years.

Luis Miguel García

Our coffee campaign this year supports the positive impact that choosing, Fairtrade has on the lives of farmers and workers. Luis Miguel García, General Manager of Cooperativa de Caficultores de Anserma who is joining us this Fairtrade Fortnight. ‘In the last 3 years, we received more than a million dollars in social premium, that we have invested programs such as: Technical assistance for 2,100 associates, training in environmental care & gender equity programs. Reforestation, 30,000 trees planted, 5,400 school, 2,000 loans for fertilizer at 0% interest rate and health programs.’
